Specie molto comune lungo le coste del Salento. E' una delle poche specie che è possibile osservare durante tutti i 12 mesi dell'anno. Nell'ultima foto un esemplare, Mar Piccolo di Taranto, decisamente di grandi dimensioni, circa 5 cm, e con 9 file di cerata. Very common species along the coasts of Salento. It is one of the few species that can be observed throughout the 12 months of the year.
